Seven Summits of the Alps
Seven ountries, seven summits, a woman and a bike

Inspired by Wolfgang Fasching a three-time winner of the Race Across America (RAAM) who completed the Seven Summits of the Alps in 2012 in less than 10 days I decided to follow in his footsteps; at the age of 56.
Equipped with an old mountain bike, camping and climbing gear I cycled from Slovenia to France and climbed the highest mountain in each of the seven countries situated in the Alps -

Slovenia: Triglav (2,864 m)
Austria: Grossglockner (3,798 m)
Germany; Zugspitze (2,962 m)
Liechtenstein; Grauspitz (2,599 m)
Switzerland: Dufourspitze (4,634 m)
France; Mont Blanc (4,810 m)
Italy; Gran Paradiso (4,061 m)
